Quicken Subscription is designed so that you never go through the upgrade process again. Do I have to buy a new Quicken every year? Start the install program and it will update all your files including the data file from Quicken 2016 to Quicken 2019. I am assuming you have already bought your copy of Quicken 2019. Deluxe: This has everything in the Starter version, but you can completely customize your budget and manage and track your debt. You can sync to your bank accounts for automated budgeting.
